NOTES

I haven't yet found a burial for Thomas SPERRY (S94), but his wife Alice (S95) is mentioned in the will of their son John (written 5 Apr 1790), in a way which seems to imply she was then a widow. Similarly, I have not found a baptism for the daughter Elizabeth but she too is mentioned in John SPERRY's will, as Elizabeth LEESON.

Since John's will was proved 30 Aug 1790, it seems likely the date of his burial was given incorrectly in the register, and as it was recorded between entries for 20 Aug 1790 and 19 Sep 1790, it is possible he was actually buried 28 Aug 1790.
